Day 25…Thanks to Regina Coeli Parish & Many Faithful volunteers and team members!

A stained glass window is only beautiful when a light shines through it. Without the light, it’ll appear dull. When lit, it can be brilliant. In a way, the same can be said about us.

The human soul craves the Light of goodness, beauty, and truth a oneness with God, Himself. These days, it’s unfortunate we are so surrounded by such chaos that many have become confused as to what is good, beautiful, or true. We are blessed and we thank the Holy Spirit for lifting the dark veil in order that we might see rightly. God willing, may we always walk securely with our paths well lit.

Possessing this Light, we have a responsibility to share it with others. Each day we spend time on the sidewalk, it’s important to be like the stained glass window and allow His light to shine through us. Our Movement is peaceful, prayerful, and supportive – it’s BEAUTIFUL! Perhaps, in time, if the Father chooses to use us as His instruments, the PP staff, clients, or the daily passersby will begin to find what their hearts truly desire. We have to be there so the opportunity is not lost! Tracy

The usual all-year-ers were present and accounted for this crisp fall shift. Escorts came out fairly late – 8:40-ish. Fairly quiet, only 2-3 victims entering the cold, dark belly of 933…  All were prayed for, but sorrowfully, none took the offer of help…

One passerby was moved with words of wisdom and truth as he viewed the fetal models. Another angry passerby was moved by the untruths that they had digested…

A house divided cannot stand, meanwhile the Liberty Ave. River flows red from the price paid by our most vulnerable brothers and sisters (heavenly patriots)…

If you haven’t already, PLEDGE to pray, and if able, come on down to witness the truth… Joe K

It was busy day today. A lot of people seemed very hard to me and we did not have much success in people accepting pro-life resources. Most of the time was spent praying and witnessing with the signs. Judy and I were joined by Karen who was not signed up, but downtown and just stopped to pray for at least an hour and Patty who was a wonderful buddy and pray-er. Sue

I didn’t include a photo today, as it was just Chris and I. This was the first time of this campaign that P.P. was open for my shift. Things were kind of quiet with only a few people entering. Nobody accepted the support material that we were offering. Dean

Mary & Rick from Regina Coeli Parish

It was an uneventful shift on a beautiful day and so we were able to engage in a steady offering of prayer.  A few women exited PP with their brown bags but unfortunately they were unwilling to accept offers for help.  One man did stop by but he just wanted to argue.  I have encountered him multiple times over the years – he didn’t stay long.  It is a comfort to have a security officer on duty. Shift Anchors Billy and Mary, with Angie and Amy & Jason from Harvest Baptist Church

Today I was accompanied by Angie and Fran was there for a few more minutes. A guy came up to her and asked all about immigration and politics and obviously we are not downtown to discuss that, but to pray, but he wouldn’t let her talk to respond. She mentioned he has been down before doing the same stuff. After that an Amy and a Jason who attend Harvest Baptist church came to pray with us. Amy had a sign that said she loved her choice of adoption. Fran took our picture and left. A little into the shift a man came up and asked if Amy if she was adopted. She shared her story with him about her daughter she  adopted. After that it was pretty quiet for a while after praying. A man came up and said he was with us. Then he started going on a random discussion with us on the subject of George Carlin. He left but then came back again, talking about marijuana. And around 4:30 everyone with me left. Billy
