“What is Truth?”
That’s what Pontius Pilate asked Jesus, The Way, The Truth and The Life. Well, we know the truth because He told us. Every life if precious and made in the image and likeness of God from the moment of conception. Every human life has immeasurable dignity and is loved by God and important to Him. Sadly everyone doesn’t either know this or want to believe it. Yet we have been called to stand up for the Truth.
Some want to sanitize and call abortion healthcare instead of what it is, the willful brutal killing of an unborn child. We know this truth and have been called to stand up for it. Many don’t want to hear it or even think about the Truth. Maybe they, paraphrasing a line from a movie, (ready this with a heavy emphasis and almost shouting in your mind) “they can’t handle the Truth.” Just because many want to deny it or sanitize it, it still is the truth.
I believe God wants us to stand up and witness to the Truth lovingly, with compassion, yet with courage. it’s not easy. If it were easy He wouldn’t need you.
So pick a time that works for you come down and pray and witness to the Truth. Bring a friend or family member and let them share in the peace and joy that comes from sacrifice and working in His vineyard.

Michael & Mark, 7-9:00

It was a relatively quiet day on the sidewalk this morning. Just like last Monday, it seemed like the only women entering PP were staff. One woman said she was there for training. One gentleman told us PP does not do abortions here and he said he worked for PP, yet he did not go inside the bldg.
Thank God no abortions were done during our time. Michael
Conrad & Beth S, 9-11:00

Mike was coming and Conrad was leaving as I took the picture. Chilly and windy with lots of employees pouring in for staff development. Only one client came out carrying the notorious brown paper bag. Abortion pill day is any day at pp. We’re told abortion is a decision by woman and her doctor. Was there even a doctor at pp today?
Marie, Ginny & Mike, 11:00-1:00

We had a wonderful group of prayer warriors from Fayette County today We prayed all 4 mysteries of the rosary. Ginny

Foot traffic on LIberty Ave was significantly higher than last week, probably owing to a nice day of no rain (last Monday was almost a constant downpour…) Our staff was blessed to have a group of visitors from St. Agnes Parish in North Huntington, who helped with prayers, constant vigil, and getting our message out from 11 AM until well after 1 PM! Friendly faces are always welcome on our team…. a photo of our new friends is above…
Today was a special day- of the many passers-by who didn’t just keep on walking was a young lady who stopped, turned, waved, and pointed to a sign I was carrying. She then hung up her phone and came over to introduce herself; what she had to share with us was amazing. She is an emigre from Uzbekistan, and has been in America for about 1-1/2 years. Recently awarded her work Visa, she is starting a job with a downtown hotel. As she approached us, we could see some emotion on her face. Her backstory ire. In Russia, about 28 years ago, her mother was pregnant and in a tough social and economic position. With no real husband and pregnant, she went to get an abortion. The abortion process was performed by external manipulation, and soon after, her mother had a dream in which she saw her baby’s beautiful face. Her mother understood that as a message from God that the abortion was not to occur, and she should proceed with her pregnancy. Her symptoms stopped, and several months later, Zolila (“pure water” in Russian) was born. You got it, Zolila was the young lady who stopped to tell us her story, pray with and for us, and then offer to share her story with others who may be helped by listening to the real life history of this amazing young woman. She gave her contact info to us and then after a hug and sincere “thank you,” she was on her way to work.

A few people were going in and out of PP while we prayed The Divine Mercy Chaplets and The Joyous Mysteries. One young couple game out with the girl carrying a small brown bag .. we included her in our prayers! One gentleman walking by shook my hand and thanked us for being there , and another man who walked by around the same time last week again offered us praise for what we do . But one man , probably the angriest I’ve ever seen, kept screaming obscenities at us and making obscene gestures toward us ! Definitely struggling with an anger management problem ! We prayed for him also . It left me wondering what could really be bothering a person to make them that angry. Dan
