“If you can…”
“But if you can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.”
Jesus said to him, “‘If you can!’ Everything is possible to one who has faith.”….
When he entered the house, his disciples asked him in private,
“Why could we not drive the spirit out?”
He said to them, “This kind can only come out through prayer.” Mark 9:14-29
We can change hearts and minds on the street by our presence, our interactions and our prayers. We can and do save babies. However, more is definitely better. We can always use more prayers. We especially need prayer warriors to support our dedicated team of Sidewalk Advocates who interface with those desperate and confused women in crisis. We can drive out the helplessness, abandonment and fear that they harbor.
“If you can” come join us on the street and pray. Sign up or just show and pray with us. Stay along as you want or can. We need you. The babies need you. And of course Pray.
God bless you and I look forward to seeing you on the street.

SIDEWALK REPORTS
7:30-9 AM +++ Mark and Michael

MARK: Happy St. Patrick’s Day! A cold windy cloudy day, but at least it isn’t raining or snowing. Good news! The only person to enter PP during this shift was the security guard. Assume they are closed or having later appointments. Mark and I were joined by Maggie from St. Peter’s Church in Steubenville Ohio. Maggie made our day because she has a passion and a zeal for the prolife cause and gave us much needed inspiration and support. God bless Maggie and all of the dedicated prolife persons.
9-11 AM +++ David and Mary

MARY: It was a cold and quiet Monday morning on the Sidewalk. Mike and Mark from the first shift told David and me that PP seemed to be closed as no one went in. It was true on our shift as well, only the Director went in as well as a handyman. One woman went in but told me she only was seeking Pampers. I told her that Catholic Charities may be able to help with diapers. She exited empty handed less than 10 minutes later. We prayed three rosaries for any women who had appointments this week and for the workers for a change of heart. We also prayed a divine mercy for Nikki’s Dad.
11 AM-1 PM +++ Marie and Mike

MARIE: Cold but relatively quiet shift, which provided time for witnessing to sidewalk traffic and prayer.
1-3 PM +++ Tom and Susan
TOM: “No news is good news” I suppose, and today was a good example. When i arrived for my shift, the weather was a cool 38 degrees and breezy, which made for a really cool day in front of the PP facility. Susan was already there, and i met a couple of other volunteers (Fran and Jan) who had just decided to come help out since our shift was a little short today. Thanks very much to Fran, Jan, and Susan for praying and staying today! In the 2 hours we were there, traffic was almost non-existent in or out of PP; i only saw one employee and one woman leave the facility, and didn’t see anyone enter. Word was that they were not doing any abortions today, which makes today a good day i guess! We made sure our signs were seen by passersby on foot and in cars — hopefully some will consider our presence a message that they listen to.
3-5 PM +++ Dan and Joanne

DAN: Cold and quiet today, not one person entered or exited PP while we prayed The Joyous Mysteries and Divine Mercy Chaplets. I wasn’t even sure they were open until I saw the security guard leave at the end of her shift.
