“And a little child will lead them” – Isaiah 11:6
On a bit of bed rest recently, getting over “who-knows-what-it-was?”, I unashamedly went down the rabbit hole of YouTube “shorts”. I’m a sucker for any video featuring babies!
One particular recording was especially precious. A big brother, probably about 3 years old, was on the floor next to his newborn baby sister. She was doing a little “tummy time” and he remained close by, patting her gently on her back and cooing sweetly to her. Filming the scene, their mother noticed he had tears in his eyes and asked him why? Wiping away a tear, he looked up at her and replied, “It is good!”, followed by, “This is beautiful!” Such purity! Out of the mouths of babes! That innocent little soul recognized what many in “intelligent” society cannot grasp, perhaps due to a spiritual cloudiness caused by sin. And, isn’t that the very same comment made by the Creator, Himself, upon surveying His creation? “It is GOOD”.
I guess that’s what we are on the sidewalk to do – AFFIRM that life is GOOD. Without a voice out there continuing to broadcast such a contrary message in today’s world, that positive thought might perish. Well, that’s NOT happening on OUR watch, right?! God has blessed us to be His instruments! We are a wonderful team supporting each other in this very good work. As a member, I am grateful for each and every one of you! May God bless us all this 40Days season!
(PSA – Don’t forget to set your clocks ahead tonight!)

Read on for today’s reports from the sidewalk…
7:30-9:00 – Tim & David

TIM: It was kinda quiet on the street this morning although several women went into the clinic and none would accept help in any form. That was sad.
I was joined by my year round Saturday morning partner David and we set up and were able to pray together. A young man with a guitar stopped and looked for some time at the fetal models. We talked briefly about them and he seemed troubled so we prayed together, he thanked us for being there and he moved on.
As Sue came to replace me, she was blessed to be joined by a nice group of prayer warriors.
9:00-11:00 – Sue D & Judy V

SUE: It was very, very busy today at pp. However, 2 church groups steadily covered the sidewalk in prayer. We approached as many women as we could going in or coming out. Many prayers were also said for the conversion and souls of the escorts. A man dropped off his girlfriend for a post-abortion follow up appt. Although it was too late for apr, he was receptive to info on Rachels Vineyard and the Green brochure. He did also graciously accept a miraculous medal. Please pray for him, he had a sincere heart.
JUDY: Sue brought a bag of WONDERFUL hand-knitted hats a grandmother (100 years old!!!) creates without end. When asked if she might distribute some she thought of Liberty Ave with so many homeless walking past us without gloves or hats. Unique and colorful, we quickly handed out 3 and I put another 3 in the LLR white cabinet.
11:00 – 1:00 – Dean & Chris D

DEAN: About 20 people went into P.P. before I arrived. No one accepted the support material that Chris was handing out. Thanks to the folks from St. Ann’s who stood and prayed with us.
1:00 – 3:00 – Kathy K & Michelle

KATHY: Thank GOD FOR SUNSHINE! Handwarmers!
Michele and I handed out a lot of literature to passersby and couples entering and exiting pp.
One couple who entered: the dad took info and exiting girl did, they looked happy but wouldn’t engage sooo could be negative test or hopeful!
3:00 – 5:00 – Jeff

NADINE: A mom with a teenage son walked past the ABORTION PILLS ARE DANGEROUS sign and the teen deliberately knocked it over. Nadine shouted at him to PICK IT UP! but to no avail. The mom then picked up the sign. [Some prayer warriors are feisty!!]
