Day 37…Thanks to Lincoln Place Church of the Nazarene, Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church and our amazing team!

We are ONE NATION UNDER GOD. Someone said recently at a prayer meeting that: “God chose Israel and America chose God”.

How beautiful and profound. I’m urging all Christians to get out and VOTE your Biblical values on Tuesday. If you are unsure what your Biblical values are read the Bible and start with the 10 Commandments in Exodus 20. Read the book of Proverbs, which is called the book of wisdom. We will never have the perfect candidate as Jesus will never be on the ballot.  It is our civic duty to VOTE.  We will reap what we sow. We are in a battle of good versus evil.  Pray and ask God for His wisdom and that His will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Pray that He will foil the enemies plans to steal, kill and destroy all that is right and good and true.

We just finished a Biblical Citizenship in Modern America Class through Patriot Academy. The last class was called “Being Salt & Light”.  We were BORN READY to battle for these babies for such a time as this!  We have stood for 37 days so far to witness for LIFE and PRAY TO END ABORTION where we live. We ARE being salt and light in the city of Pittsburgh. God gives us the strength and courage to show up day in and day out. We will not back down. We will stand in the gap for these precious little ones no matter what the cost.  We have to stop this injustice in our land. We are Joshua’s & Calebs and are called to take back the land that God has given us. Now is the opportunity to take back what the enemy has stolen.  Joshua 1:8-9 “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous.  Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Psalm 68:1 God shall arise, his enemies shall be scattered; and those who hate Him shall flee before Him! AMEN & AMEN

I was warmly greeted by Barbara, Julie, and Cheryl on this beautiful morning. And it was nice to have Anthony join us in prayer mid-shift. My partner, Mr. Chuck, is not with me today. He is in declining health. Please be in prayer for him. He had a really bad stroke a couple of years ago. And he’s been failing fast lately. His balance and strength are almost gone now. On another note, there was a lot of traffic going into PP. Nearly all of them did their best to ignore us and any resources we had to offer. One lady stopped to listen and take a resource brochure. I asked if she was going in for an abortion. She adamantly said no, she was going in to have her birth control removed. She wanted another baby. I told her she didn’t have to go in there because they murder babies by the thousands. She went in anyway but within a minute she was coming back out looking at the brochure I had given her. I had an opportunity to pray with a lady who wanted to get off drugs and find a better place to live.

Thank you to Beth Ann, Nancy, Angi, Tom, Leah (and some of her joyful, courageous kids!!), Nikki, Beverly, Helena, Anthony, Marc, Linda, Sam and Ed for being there on this beautiful fall day! It was less busy than usual, but the security guard noted that there seemed to be more hostility than usual. I didn’t really notice much more than average, but there did seem to be less positive comments.

Judy showed up near the end of our shift with these adorable treat bags filled with candy and feet pin.   We were more successful at handing out flyers too after handing them a bag.  Great idea!  Brought smiles to the sidewalk.

Pete and Mary Jane surprised us and joined the faithful trio of Diane, Joyce, and Carolyn in prayer.

Ed stayed a while into our shift to pray.

Anthony also stayed a short while longer to pray with this lovely couple.  And Katie worked the other side trying to reach out.  It was nice to catch up with her and the others.

The weather was perfect.  The wind died down into our shift.  Many people out.  Nice seeing those in costumes.

People in and out of PP.  A few took resources.  Some passing by were receptive.

Brasilia was busy at the Little Lamb.  She had visitors the short time we were there.

Thankful for the Lord’s protection and all our friends “for life”!  God bless you all!

Mary, Bill and Pete

Judy was present during the 3-5 shift along with Pete, Bill and Mary. She was handing out treat bags to all passersby with candy and info cards and the little feet pins, creating a lot of good will and friendly thank-you s! She also gave a large bag of candy to Red, our security guard to hand out. We didn’t see many people going in to PP and the employees were leaving early.

Two journalists for a Danish newspaper spoke to Pete and later Mary and Judy regarding the 40 DFL campaign and the impact of abortion on the upcoming election. They were very interested and took pictures of us, our signs and fetal models. They seemed to be supportive of the campaign and our presence there, but as Pete suggested, we tried to be cautious in our answers so that nothing could be misconstrued. They said they’ll try to be back Sunday for the closing.
