BATTER UP!
(It’s your turn at bat.)
Our lives have a balanced rhythm; our comings and goings are regulated into a comfortable routine.
And then, 40Days comes along!
(Approaching the plate…)
“Do I HAVE to?!?” you ask somewhat irritated.
(SWING! And, a miss! Strike One!)
“Yes, you do.” you might hear a still small voice speak to your heart.
“But, but, …. I have stuff to do!” you whimper.
(SWING! And, a miss! Strike Two!)
“Yes. And?” says the small voice.
“I’m not effective! I just stand there. How helpful is THAT, truly?”
(SWING! Hit! Foul ball. Warming up!)
“MY GRACE IS ENOUGH FOR YOU, FOR IN WEAKNESS POWER REACHES PERFECTION.”
(2 Corinthians 12:9)
“OK. I’ll go. I can’t promise much, but I’ll be there in prayer, at least.”
(SWING! HIT! HOME RUN!)
Let’s play ball, y’all!
Tracy
Joe, Tim & David
(From Tim) – It was a brisk, brilliant and blessed morning. The greatest blessing was the abortion mill was closed. The early team of year round regulars Joe and David along with Will and Bill made a strong presence and witness to all the young people heading to the convention center. No one entered the clinic. Thank God. Dan was joined by three different groups of prayer warriors for the 9 o’clock hour from Quiqley Catholic, Sts John and Paul and Assumption Church in Bellevue.

Dan
Thanks to our brand new volunteer Dan for being there during the 9-11am shift! We were worried he would be by himself for one hour, but were blessed that many faithful prayer warriors came to pray!
Dean & Chris

(From Dean) – The good news today is that Planned Parenthood was closed for Saturday. Hallelujah and Amen!
Kathy

(From Kathy) – Chris stayed until Arthur and Bill came to pray and stand for life. Pp was closed, praise God!
One girl attempted to enter pp, she took pamphlet and we talked about birth control. She knew it did not prevent std and was reading info. Jenna was at free clinic for dental: she was delighted ,we were standing for life. Took 40 days brochure.
Jeff & Billy

(From Billy) – Jeff myself and we had volunteers from St Mary of Czestowcha in New Kensington with us today. We did prayers and we had visitors with both negative and positive comments. One of my favorite moments was a moment and little girl had walked by and the little girl asked about the baby models and the mom said thats what babies look like when they were little. We ended packing up and a guy thanked us. I also wanted to add it was a great day because Planned Parenthood was closed .

God bless all volunteers for donating their time and prayers for the babies.
