Day 32: Thanks to Choices Pregnancy Services, Ascension Holy Name Society (Jeannette), Archangel Gabriel Parish, Christ Our Savior Parish, and faithful prayer warriors

QUESTION: What is better than a Planned Parenthood Abortion Clinic closed on a SATURDAY?

Answer: NOT MUCH!!

Plus — news of a PILOT who might never have been born!

Praise and Glory to God for today’s unexpected BLESSINGS!

NO KILLING today at Pittsburgh Planned Parenthood! Our God is an AWESOME GOD!

And from the sidewalk today:

A woman walked by me, then stopped and said, “You people helped me when I was pregnant. I was scheduled for an abortion. You kindly educated me about my baby and what an abortion is. My son is becoming a pilot. I have six children and help young girls. I want to encourage you to keep this up.”

7-9 Shift Manager Tim Reports:

We were blessed in so many ways this morning.  Best of all, the clinic was closed and no babies were killed.  Jill and Betsy in the Choices Pregnancy Services mobile sonogram were there to offer their help. And prayer warriors continued to arrive throughout the morning starting with Kathleen who joined Joe and me. Then Bill, Beth, Sue, Clint, Randy and Bill.  The sidewalk was unusually quiet and we were able to pray most of the time with very few interruptions.  All the while, we were able to enjoy spring weather with mild temperatures and no rain.  God is good.

9-11 Shift Manager Sue Reports:

PP was completely closed today!  Praise God!!!  Sue, a faithful 40 Days veteran praying when I arrived, said she had been praying for a good while prior to today that PP would be closed today as it is the Feast of the Annunciation.  And it was.  How beautiful!!

A good-sized group from the Ascension Holy Name Society in Jeannette came to pray today.  And pray they did.  It was continuous prayer from the time they got there.  Early in the shift, a woman arrived and tried for a long time to get into PP, looking confused as to why it was closed.  She then made a phone call and was talking to someone for quite a while.  The Choices ultrasound van was there today, and they stuck around for a long time even though PP was closed.

We pray that the being-closed trend will soon become a permanent trend!

Bill, Sue, Bill, and Randy celebrate a CLOSED PP

11-1 Shift Manager Dean Reports:

Hallelujah, this place was closed for business today! I stood inside the circle and encouraged others to do so. No babies were sacrificed today. Thank you, members of Archangel Gabriel Parish for praying with us. Let’s be hopeful. The day is coming when no more lives will be lost here. We serve a mighty God!

1-3 Shift Manager Kathy Reports:

Members of Archangel Gabriel celebrate an unexpected DAY OF LIFE at PP!

Dean did a Hallelujah dance inside the circle to tell us PP was closed today! Many “Praise Gods!” were lifted. The Prayer Warriors from Archangel Gabriel prayed diligently for our two hours.

A woman walked by me, then stopped and said, ” You people helped me when I was pregnant. I was scheduled for an abortion. You kindly educated me about my baby and what an abortion is… My son is becoming a pilot. I have six children and help young girls. I want to encourage you to keep this up.” She took info!

I walked her over to the prayer warriors and she encouraged them.  As she walked away, she said, “I never told anyone before, why did I tell you?”  We needed encouragement!

Wow!

Joe wore a sign saying ”40 Babies killed here each week” as he walked back and forth. It stimulated conversation and many double takes!

3-5 Shift Manager Billy reports:

Happy Annunciation Day to all who celebrate. Today Jeff and I were twice blessed with a start to warm weather and that Planned Parenthood was closed. We had a few interesting things that happened today. A man came over and grabbed the baby model and placed it under his shirt. He apparently is a frequent passerby. A young group of girls came and looked at the models and they liked them. As we were getting ready to close up, a woman asked Jeff if he remembered her. She had also come up a few times during the shift. Other than that it was a lovely windy afternoon. God bless.
