Fathers
Courts have ruled that fathers of pre-born babies do not have a say whether their son or daughter lives or dies in the womb. Our throwaway culture also discourages fathers of pre-born children from taking a role in “the decision”. They are not allowed to stand up and fight for the life of their child. Pay for the abortion and move on- don’t take responsibility for your child.
Studies have shown that the father of the pre-born child has the most influence over whether the mother carries their child to term. Seamus, a faithful prayer warrior I met years ago, who has returned to the sidewalk, used to challenge the men accompanying the mother of their child into PP.
Seamus would loudly say, “Man up!”, an exhortation to the father to stand up and defend the right of his child to be born as God intended.
Many men, facing an unexpected pregnancy, end up shirking the responsibilities of a father- to love and support their child and the mother of their child. A lot of men say, “it’s your choice”- a coward’s way out of responsibility. Sex without consequences is what they want.
Men need to have the courage and moral conviction to fight for the right of their child to live.
Next time you’re praying downtown, and you see a man accompanying a woman into PP, please pray that he will find the courage to tell the woman, “I want you to keep our baby and I will support you going forward.”
“Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.” Matthew 5:7
“Wait patiently for the LORD; be strong and courageous.” Psalm 27:14
“Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9

Joe, Ethan & Greg
(From Greg) – Thanks go out to my early morning partners of Joe and Ethan who arrived on time when I did not this morning! Steady is the word of the day. My morning partners are steady and reliable! The abortion traffic was steady between 9:00 – 10:00 AM today. At least one couple went in every 15 minutes. Steadfast we must remain in our resolve to fight this atrocity of infanticide. I read somewhere today that PA legislators are proposing abortion up until birth in our fair state! We must speak out and call our legislators and visit them in person. I don’t know if this bill has a chance of passing. but if it does, we must fight it tooth and nail.
As for the couples who passed us by and entered the evil doors of Planned Murderhood, several were very young, and looked at us as we were some sort of comedy act. I begged and pleaded yelling through the doors for them to come out but to no avail.
The was one bright star of our morning was a 70 year old African-Amercan grandmother (great-grandmother actually) who stopped to talk to me and express her support. She related a story when she was a young mother and she took her 13 year daughter to the doctor. He tried to tell her that she needed to get her on birth control pills, and she vehemently resisted. She said it was like telling her daughter it was ok to have sex at that age! After the appointment was over, the doctor wrote in his report describing the mother as “combative”. Joycette, my new 70 year old friend, offered to help us , and I told her about Sidewalk Advocates. She wants to come to the next training, providing we can help her with a ride from Center Ave. She says she has no problem getting down to Liberty Ave.; she can take a bus or even walk! God bless her!
Kim & Kathy

(From Kathy) – Passed out most of my literature to passersby and exiting pp clients. One passerby, a woman, remarked “you all need to leave people alone and let them kill their baby if they want to.” I thought, What experiences in her life brought her to such a wicked statement?! We received a few positive beeps and greetings from motorists and passersby

Donna & Seamus

(From Donna) – We were blessed by all those on the sidewalk today as there were many faithful prayer warriors. In addition to them we had three distinct blessings on the sidewalk today. Not long after we got there a young gentleman came by and was over joyed that we were there and he thanked us. We thanked him for blessing us. Another woman came by with her daughter and told us her daughter was born at 24 weeks and she survived did great and completed college. She told this just as a young girl exited PP. She definitely heard the woman share that story. We thanked her for sharing and said God bless you. She said she would pray for us. We had another man come by and was another blessing to us. May God pour out His blessings on all who bless us and those who curse us we pray that they would have a JESUS encounter
Val & Mike

We saw the same workers leaving today. There were more addicts and disturbed people on the sidewalk this week. They all seem to hang out in front of PP. Very sad. We just kept praying.

Sad to read that addicts and mentally disturbed people are drawn to this demonic site. The enemy’s fingerprints are all over this sad and dark place. God protect the brave prayer warriors who stand in the face of this evil each day. St. Michael, protect them.
