Day 26…Thanks to our incredible team and other wonderful volunteers who jumped in to pray!

Brothers and sisters: God is not unjust so as to overlook your work and the love you have demonstrated for his name by having served and continuing to serve the holy ones. We earnestly desire each of you to demonstrate the same eagerness for the fulfillment of hope until the end, so that you may not become sluggish, but imitators of those who, through faith and patience, are inheriting the promises.

Heb 6:10-12

Just a brief WORD of encouragement for al of us at this point in the campaign…Scripture is always a good place to go when we’re running out of steam! May God preserve our eagerness to serve, save us from sluggishness as we head into the final two weeks, and grant us the faith and patience to remain among those inheriting His promises!

-Jen

JEN: We were met by a large group of friends enjoying each other’s company on the sidewalk near the vigil site this morning. It made for a noisy morning, but we were able to pray through all the mysteries of the Scriptural Rosary and a Chaplet of Divine Mercy anyway. Thank you to the faithful first-shift Sunday crew of Vince, Rich, and George!

KEN: Arrived to Jen, Vince and faithful Knights Rich and George praying without ceasing as usual. We had prayer support in our first hour from Mary Kay and Ron, shown in this picture with shift partner Pat. Also a visit from the powerful prayers of the Sunday walkers.

A little noisy on Liberty avenue today from a group of homeless camping out in front of a store front a few doors down. We also had some negative interaction from people yelling obscenities, another that spit on the ground in front of the fetal models, and a man who was a little hostile, throwing the signs from around the utility pole, up in the air. He expressed the opinion that we should be helping the homeless instead of praying in front of PP. I tried to explain that their was great need for prayer where babies were dying and woman were harmed. That is what caused him to take out his aggression on the signs. May God have Mercy on him.

ROSEANN: Just witnessing and praying and hopefully opening up hearts and minds to see the evil of abortion.

PATTY: Light drizzle and light pedestrian traffic during the shift. Thanks to Mary who also stayed. A few quiet positive comments. Prayed 2 rosaries and the St Michael prayer, Many did look at the signs and models but none stopped long enough to talk.

Coming soon!
