Repentance, Reformation & Revival
This is a picture (at top of post) of the back of the Supreme Court building in Washington DC. Moses is pictured above holding the tablets with the 10 Commandments. One of those commandments is: Thou shall not murder. Sadly we are witness to many being led to the slaughter at 933 Liberty Avenue in Pittsburgh. Look at the writing underneath the picture of Moses: JUSTICE THE GUARDIAN OF LIBERTY. What have we done with our LIBERTY? Where is the liberty for our preborn brothers and sisters? How have we allowed the murder of children to be legal and for so many years? Where is the justice for our preborn neighbors? When will this modern day holocaust end? Have we compromised? Yes, I believe we have. How have we allowed this for 52 years? Our nation desperately needs to repent for the sin of child sacrifice. The shedding of innocent blood has defiled us and pollutes our land, and brings the judgement of God.
God we cry out to you for our preborn brothers and sisters who are slaughtered, starved and discarded as if they are nothing. God we repent of compromising. God we know you hate the hands that shed innocent blood. The blood of the innocent is running under the streets in America. God we ask you to move in a mighty way and abolish abortion to your glory. We ask you to defund Planned Parenthood and make abortion illegal. We ask you to remove the dangerous abortion pills that destroy life and hurt women. God we ask you to change the hearts and minds of our leaders so that they will do the right thing and stand up for the unborn. God we ask you to change the hearts of women and men considering abortion and let them choose life. God we ask you to change the hearts and minds of the abortion workers, doctors, nurses, escorts, security guards and all who believe the lie that abortion is healthcare and a woman’s right to choose. Open blind eyes so that they will see and deaf ears so they will hear Your truth. May the Gospel be preached to them and turn their hearts of stone into hearts of flesh. Have your way Lord. We speak JESUS over our city, state and nation. We pray that repentance, reformation and revival will break out across our land. We know and believe You will do the impossible all for your glory. We ask all this in the Mighty Name of Jesus, the Name above all names. Amen.

SIDEWALK REPORTS
7:30-9 AM +++ Cheryl and Charlie

CHERYL: Quiet morning, about 5 women went in.
9-11 AM +++ Judy and Charlie

JUDY: It was a beautiful sunny morning, which made it seem not so cold. We were pleasantly greeted by Cheryl, Rick and Charlie.
A young lady was looking for planned parenthood, and I had the opportunity to stop her and talk with her. She said she was going in for an abortion, and I asked her if I could pray with her. She was in a hurry to get to her appointment, but she did let me pray briefly with her. And I prayed that god would convince her to save her baby. After praying with her, I asked her if she would please reconsider. She said this was last minute, and she just found out she was pregnant and she really needed to have the abortion. She didn’t want any of the resources I offered her. I am praying that God speaks to her heart and she changes her mind.
11 AM-1 PM +++ Linda, Kathy, Ed, and Sam

LINDA: Another cold day on the sidewalk. Lots of foot traffic going in and out of Planned Parenthood, including couples. No one was interested in taking any literature or learning about any help. There were several negative comments and reactions from passersby.
However, it was great to have so many people praying on our shift! Thanks to Kathy, Sam, Ed, Bob, Lillian, Donna, Karen, Diane, Tom and Janet, representing St. Catherine Laboure, Christ Divine and St. James. We trust in the power of prayer, even when we don’t see the results.
1-3 PM +++ Carolyn, Cil, and Fr. Jim

CIL: Thanks to Dave who came back to the Vigil with SB Carolyn. Thanks again to Fr Jim for driving Diane and I down from St Francis Parish.
We were blessed to have a wonderful group from St Catherine Laboure’ with us on this sunny day. Thank you to Diane, Tom, Janet, Christina, Brad, Fran, Marian, and Deb for their witness and many prayers!
One kind, spiritual woman stopped, signed in but didn’t stay long after she tried hard to evangelize and convert me. I know my Catholic faith well enough so… 🙂
Those leaving PP today didn’t take anything. The one sweet woman stopped and said she was there for her bc shot. I wanted to give her the flyer we had but she wasn’t interested.
We directed several people to Little Lamb. I stopped in myself to buy some cute clothes for my sister to take to her granddaughter in FL tomorrow and to give an additional donation from a friend too. Any time you are down, please consider buying some items from Little Lamb and/or offering a donation. It has been such a blessing to us at the Vigil. They need donations and support to pay the crazy rent.
3-5 PM +++ Bill and Patty
PATTY: Thanks to Debbie who stayed for the first hour to pray with us. Unusually quiet. Only saw 1 couple exit, who were not interested in information and then workers later in the shift. One young girl really studied the green card as she circled back but said she did not need anything else. A few people maybe positive comments thanking us for being there

God bless everyone involved in 40 Days Days for Life. As many of us know, we need to pray for the roots of the abortion issue- in our hedonistic society, people need to practice purity, chastity, and self-control.
