Looking at the beauty of this picture makes me think of God and the beauty of all He has created. It also makes me think of heaven and eternity. How amazing it will be to be in paradise with Jesus for eternity. I can only imagine…
While we are here on this earth, as believers, taking a stand for LIFE, we are in the midst of the battle of good and evil. We pray earnestly for women and men considering abortion, that they would choose life. We know the consequences of those that do not choose life; pain, heartache, guilt, shame, regret and addiction among other things. We know that there is no sin that God will not forgive if we repent and turn from our wicked ways. We pray for the abortion workers; doctors, nurses, volunteers, escorts, and security guards and all who believe the lie that abortion is healthcare and a woman’s right to choose; our prayer is they would be convicted of their sin and repent and turn to the Lord. God please change their hearts and heal them as only You can. God loves every person He created in His image. We pray for equal justice for our pre-born neighbors.
Today we are fighting a battle not only against evil but the enemy has infiltrated the church also. Many churches and believers have fallen away from the truth. This is what Jesus was talking about when He said many will fall away and be deceived in the last days. We see it happening right before our eyes. Many in the churches are accepting things that go against God’s Word. We say Church, WAKE UP!! The time to act is now. Don’t be swept away with the lies and be deceived by propaganda. Repent and turn back to God. Tell people the truth and what God’s Word says. God created us male and female in His image. All LIFE, from conception to natural death, is sacred in the eyes of Jesus.
Marriage is between one man and one woman; as the body of Christ (the church) is the bride and Jesus is the bridegroom. We await the marriage supper of the Lamb.
We are all here for such a time as this. We will stand boldly, courageously and continue to contend for the truth. We will not cower in fear because we know the battle belongs to the Lord. He is with us in this battle and the Holy Spirit has given us power and authority to persevere and patiently endure. We know the end of the story and Jesus is victorious. He has already won. We go forth in faith, trust and obedience knowing He goes before us, He is beside us and He is with us every step of the way.
Dear Heavenly Father we thank You and praise You for the victory Jesus already won; the price Jesus paid on the cross for our sins and His glorious resurrection and ascension into heaven. We await His return and say Come Jesus Come. Help us as we contend for the faith. Help us to live out our faith each and every day. Help us to be examples to each other in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity. Let us love by rejoicing with the truth knowing the truth sets us free. Let us have the faith of Abraham and Noah believing what God says and following Him no matter what the cost. Lord help us to live out our faith so that the lost world, steeped in darkness and immorality, would see the beauty of who Jesus Christ is through His people so that they will ask questions and our lives would influence them. We ask all this in the Mighty Name of Jesus. Amen
We declare that the door to Roe is closed for good in Jesus name!

7:30-9:00- Nikki & Cheryl

Sadly Thursday morning started out looking like it is going to be a busy abortion day. I was still preoccupied with setting up the materials when the first couple went in…a young woman accompanied by what looked to be her father. They just kept coming after that, at least 3 more. No one seemed interested in the least in reconsidering what they were about to do. But we prayed and we were there. That is all God is asking from us.
9:00-11:00 – Judy, Barbara & Richard

It was good to have Dan and Lynette join us mid-shift. There was not a lot of traffic in and out of PP during our first hour. Sadly, it picked up during our second hour. We offered resources to nearly everyone who went in or came out, but they were refused. Right at the end of our shift, we saw the motorcade bringing Vance onto Liberty Avenue. That was exciting!!!
11:00-1:00 – Linda, Beth Ann & Patty

It was a VERY busy abortion day today, with a steady stream of couples entering Planned Parenthood. Unfortunately, no one was interested in learning about alternatives.
The bright spot on the sidewalk was a Byzantine service lead by Rev. Fr. James Ragan and Deacon Paul Boboige, who prayed with a beautiful icon of Jesus and the Blessed Mother.
Beth Ann, Angela, Nancy, Sam, Ed and Bob prayed and witnessed during all or part of the shift.
1:00-3:00 – Carolyn & Cil

We were joined by Ed during his lunch break.
No one entering PP accepted literature. Sadly, two very young girls entered at the beginning of our shift and we did not see them leave.
We had many positive conversations with pro-lifers who were leaving the JD Vance event.
We prayed the rosary and Divine Mercy Chaplet, and were able to hand out multiple yellow cards.
One quite joyful mother of 5 approached the fetal model table and had a nice conversation with Mary and Carolyn. She took literature and a fetal model for a friend who will soon be getting an ultrasound.

3:00-5:00 – Pete, Bill & Mary
There wasn’t much to report, except that we did see the two young girls come out late, well after most of the employees had left, with a woman, possibly a mom, meeting them outside. They walked quickly past us and wouldn’t let us help them.
