Day 21: Thanks to Christ our Savior Parish, Divine Mercy Parish, St. Matthew Parish, and all who prayed in the cold!

Jesus, truly present in the Most Blessed Sacrament, hear our humble prayers, bless this work for your unborn babies, as we implore your Most Sacred Heart, save them Lord, heal their parents, bring conversion and true faith to those that would harm them. The power of the prayers we offer on the sidewalk saves lives, brings conversion, and healing, and frees souls from purgatory.

Our prayers on the sidewalk are powerful before God and the great heavenly host prays with us. Saint Joseph spoke little in scripture, yet he is called Joseph most just, most chaste, most prudent, most courageous, most obedient, most faithful. If we invoke his name on the sidewalk it will bring much efficacy to our efforts. He is the terror of demons and the protector of the universal church; he is powerful before God and his intercession for those who call upon him is of the greatest value.

Our guardian angels look on the face of God, guard our every step, help us in all our spiritual and temporal endeavors, protect us, watch over us, lead us in the battle. They are not absent on Liberty Avenue. CCC…Beside each believer stands an angel as protector and shepherd leading him to life. He is in the battle with us fighting courageously by our side.

The Blessed virgin Mary, Mother of our Savior, is Mother of Divine Grace, Mother of Hope, Mother of Good Counsel, Virgin Most Powerful, Tower of David, Ark of the Covenant. When we invoke the Immaculate Heart of Mary in our petitions and call on her with our rosaries, she will take the Angelic Psalter and stand before the throne of God to plead for us.

Of late I have found devotion to the Holy Face of Jesus. The prayers to this devotion, given to Sister Mary of Saint Peter, include these:

-May God arise and let His enemies be scattered and let those who hate Him flee before His face.

-May the thrice Holy name of God overthrow all their plans.

-May the terrible name of the God of Eternity stamp out all their Godlessness.

-May the Holy name of God split them up by disagreements.

-Arise, O Lord, and let thine enemies be scattered, and let those who hate thee flee before they face.

Can any demon stand, can any evil approach us, can we lose our battle against the principalities and powers of darkness while reciting such prayers and pleading for intercession for the babies?

1John 5:14 And this is the confidence which we have towards Him: That, whatsoever we shall ask according to his will, he heareth.

The Spiritual Works of Mercy are very evident on Liberty Avenue:

counsel the doubtful
instruct the ignorant
admonish sinners
comfort the afflicted
forgive offenses
bear wrongs patiently
pray for the living and the dead.

CCC 2447 The works of Mercy are charitable actions by which we come to the aid of our neighbor in his spiritual and bodily necessities.

Matthew 5:7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

REPORTS

7-9: Tracy

7-8:45 was calm. Only workers went in. Maybe one single young lady showed up. Sandi, Jackie and I got a Rosary in on one side of the arch while Barbara and Richard stood vigil on the other side. Anthony joined in, as well. Closer to 9, two couples went in. Another woman left her husband and three children in their parked car nearby. So sad!

Boy! Was it COLD this morning! Perhaps that kept everyone away the first hour?

9-11: Beth

Sadly, it was a very busy morning with many clients. Linda and I handed out cards and offered help for those going into PP . But most people just kept going to get out of the cold. Pete joined us later as did Glenn. Snow and wind, praise the Lord!

🥶

.

11-1: Sheila

It was business as usual today! Not much to report other than my toes and fingertips have finally thawed out!  Thank the Lord for the warm comforts of home!

1-3: Kim

Coming soon!

3-5: John

It was cold, snow flurries and windy. We had a good spirit. We prayed the Rosary, Chaplet and Stations. Handed out some Rosaries. A lot of traffic came in and out of the clinic. May God bless you all and keep you close to His Sacred Heart and Her Immaculate Heart.
