Day 19…Thanks to faithful team members and generous volunteers!

Spiritual Dehydration

When our bodies get dehydrated, we can experience headache, fatigue, dizziness, lightheadedness, confusion, and irritability. It’s even worse when our SOULS get dehydrated. We lose the energy and focus needed to carry out the mission our Lord has given to us. We can get confused about the necessity of sacrifice and irritable when we’re asked to suffer for someone else’s benefit. To recover from spiritual dehydration, we need to drink deeply of the Living Water: God’s grace, poured out in His Word and Sacraments. May merciful God refresh and revive us to do the work of defending the sanctity of Life!

“…but whoever drinks the water I shall give will never thirst; the water I shall give will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”

John 4:14

Thanks to Dave, Rich, and George for a peaceful shift praying all the mysteries of the Scriptural Rosary and a Chaplet of Divine Mercy! Please say a prayer for Vince, who was unable to join us this morning due to illness.

Pat and I prayed along with Nadine today with only one notable comment to report. A troubled man stopped to look at our posters only to announce that he wished that he had been aborted. A cause for prayer and concern as well as a reminder of the suffering, loneliness, mental and emotional struggles that exist from the fallout of the abortion culture. The culture of death born out of abortion, prophesied and vilified by Saint John Paul,  is both widespread and devastating. May God use us to bring about a culture of life and Hope.

Praying the rosary quietly in front of the clinic today, we had an insult, a persecution, and an utterance of evil, falsely, because of Him!  Does this qualify us to rejoice and be glad?

Sad to read about insults, a persecutions, and utterances of evil against our brave witnesses, but happy to read that these are offered up to save the babies in honor and imitation of He Who suffered such to save us. Blessings.
