Day 17…Thanks to our incredible team and amazing additional volunteers!

Forgiveness

What are my thoughts when I’m praying on the sidewalk and women, sometimes escorted by their mothers or fathers, go into PP? And then, later, leave with a brown paper bag? Do I feel anger? Sometimes. But I always feel sorrow for the child in their womb. Is it love and compassion for her, as Jesus did with Mary Magdalene? Isn’t that what our Faith and Jesus’ teachings say I should feel? That we need to pray for the forgiveness of everyone involved in the abortion- the mother, the father, the abortionist, and the staff? But it is so hard to do…

But that is what we are asked to do, as difficult as it may be. Again and again. 77 times… Let us offer the women and workers entering 933 Jesus’ love, compassion, and forgiveness. It is only through Love that we will win this battle for the lives of the pre-born, by changing one heart at a time.

“Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them for they do not know what they are doing.” Luke 22:34

“But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.” Matthew 5:44

“Let him who is without sin among you be the first to cast a stone at her.” John 8:7

“Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn others, or it will all come back against you. Forgive others, and you will be forgiven.” Luke 6:37

Judy, Greg, and Beth

(from Joe) Inspired by the faithful and dedicated longtime associates for life. A beautiful morning spent with humble witnesses fighting evil.

(from Beth) Chilly outside and inside, but to the max.  First day for the fleece lined sweatpants but lots of warm hearts to compensate.

Greg and Joe were on duty when I  arrived and sadly, business was brisk this morning . Judy came and those three are some of the best for handing out literature and offering help. No takers, but help was there.

Seamus arrived with his great sign.

Before we knew it,  Bernie was here along with Mckenna and Chris from Franciscan University of Steubenville so our purpose was well presented on the sidewalk today.

Coming soon…

Coming soon…

(from Val) Quiet afternoon at PP today.  Only a few employees exiting today.
