Over but not gone

While the fall campaign has ended, the faithful still come to pray and witness outside planned parenthood.  This past Saturday two first timers came to pray.  Casey a sophomore at Oakland Catholic HS and Sean from North Carolina came to the witness to life along with the regular Saturday morning prayer warriors. This Saturday many of the regular faithful were back including Bill S. and Bill H., sidewalk advocates Meredith, Brandon, Jeff and Sue. Plus the Choices Pregnancy Services Mobile Sonogram was there.  Despite the strong wind and our signs wanting to fly away we stood firm.

If you are feeling the urge to come back there will be three upcoming monthly vigils:

  1. “Give Thanks” the Saturday before Thanksgiving Nov. 21,
  2. “Celebrate His birth” the Saturday before Christmas
  3. “Stand for Life” the day/Saturday after the  January March for Life in Washington, DC.

Come if you can anytime between 7 am and 11 am to planned parenthood 933 Liberty Avenue, downtown. Stay as long as you want and bring a sign if you have one.  No need to sign up.  Just show up. And stay awhile.

Have a blessed Holiday Season including a Happy Thanksgiving and a Merry Christmas. Peace and joy,

Tim B.
