Our Father’s Day Vigil and Jericho March was blessed with good weather and turn out. Prayer warriors were witnessing from 7 am on with a steady stream coming and going. The Jericho March around the block attracted a lot of attention and even reverence. There were workers on the closed off Liberty Ave setting up for the Gay Pride concert and festivities who took notice.
While we may never know the impact of our presence that day it was encouraging to meet and pray with those who share our common belief in the value and dignity of the unborn child.
Unofficially, many 40 Days for Life participants still come to pray and witness every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday mornings so if you ever get the urge or hear the call in the silence of the night to stand up for life, come join us.
Peace and joy to all. Enjoy your summer and we hope to see you at the upcoming 40 Days for Life Fall Campaign.
