Photos from the Lenten Kick-Off Rally!

It is always a blessing to be together in prayer, worship, inspiring speakers and a candlelit walk to Planned Parenthood!  What a united family we are becoming!  What a perfect way to prepare for our Lenten 40 Days for Life campaign!  Thanks to Lori Snatchko for taking these pictures…and thanks to INTENT for blessing us with their awesome music…and to all the speakers who took time to encourage us…and all the vigil shift managers for their sacrifice which makes our campaign possible…and for ALL who joined us for this important event!  Enjoy the photos!

Helen Cindrich, Executive Director of PCUC (People Concerned for the Unborn Child) speaks about the un-fair bias the media gives (or doesn’t give) to pro-lifers.

Pamela, husband Joe and Jane Abate. (Jane gave her testimony of healing after abortion at this same event during the spring 2011 kick-off…and a young woman in the audience who was pregnant and considering abortion…CHANGED HER MIND AND CHOSE LIFE!!!


Fr. Tim Kruthaupt of the Greensburg Diocese shared encouraging news of pro-life legislation that is happening at the state level that has a chance to over-turn Roe vs. Wade!

Chaplain Steve, Pittsburgh’s “Singing Chaplain”, leads us in song in front of Planned Parenthood

Reverend Bryan Werner ended the evening by claiming the space inside the “circle” (where WE are NOT permitted to stand…but that the Holy Spirit CAN)! We prayed that the Holy Spirit would remain inside that circle for our 40 day campaign. We closed with a united Lord’s Prayer.

    So encouraged by the participation by clergy in this service inaugurating the 40 Days for Life campaign. I only hope that someday in the San Fernando Valley and Los Angeles, we would have such a gathering for the life of the unborn. My friend,Sheila, stands prayerfully at the clinic and has been faithful in her devotion to God and to living out her faith. God’s blessings and love on all of you as you proclaim God’s truth in love.
