Day 30, St. John the Baptist in Plum….and Catholic Moms!

Judy, Rosemary, Kellie, Sue, Joe and Barb

Here are a couple photos from today’s vigil, taken by second shift manager, Marilyn:

Marilyn and William

From what I heard, St. John the Baptist had a very well organized group, that kept coming all day!  Catholic Mom’s once again held the vigil in the afternoon.  What great witnesses they are for life!!!

Marie P., who was shift manager during the morning shift took these photos:

David, Joe and Jack from St. John the Baptist in Plum
Randy and Brian from St. John's

Lisa, who shares the second shift with Marilyn (and who coordinated the St. John the Baptist group that participated today), wrote the following:

Today was incredibly hot for only March 22!  But praise God!  What a different kind of vigil this has been with such amazing weather!  My shift was pretty normal, except that I prayed the rosary almost the entire time.  It got me thinking:  We need more “prayer power.”  Sometimes we chat during our shifts, which is fine and understandable…. After all, we need to greet others, respond to others, sometimes have conversations…. But we also need for someone- at least one person- to be in prayer the whole time– no matter what else is going on.  We need the continuous thread of prayer support that holds
everything at the vigil together. That’s my two cents for the day.  After this, the Lord
might humble me by making me talk all during my next shift…. but I hope
not!  Also, I’d like to sincerely thank all those who
came from St. John the Baptist today to pray.  God bless you all!  Lisa
