Photos from the Kick-Off!

What an amazing time of pro-life unity and fellowship we had on Sunday night!  The music by Intent was so beautiful and moving….Thank you INTENT!!!  I am SO blessed to know these young, talented people who are serving the Lord with their musical talents and their whole hearts!  Thanks to Shawn Carney for traveling to Pittsburgh to be with us and to inspire us with his message of the amazing things that God is doing across our country through 40 Days for Life!  It was an honor to meet him!

Thanks to Rev. Tom Hall for allowing us the use of his beautiful sanctuary, and to all the speakers who inspired us that night!  The fight to end abortion can be a difficult and lonely battle…and usually we feel like we are in the minority…a tiny remnant of our population…but at times like this, we are blessed to be together, in unity and solidarity…and it was WONDERFUL!

Thanks to Lori Snatchko for taking these powerful photos!!! Without her amazing talent for photography, we wouldn’t be able to document our events like this!  It is true that we all make up different parts of the Body of Christ…isn’t it?  We all have different talents and abilities…and when we are willing to offer them up for the good of the Body…it’s amazing what can happen! I am trusting the LORD that GREAT things are going to happen these next 40 days!!!!

I would like to see more people of color and also some concern for other serious moral issues-racism-mistreatment of the poor-neglect of children already born-Good luck with your special ministry.

      Dear Fr. Taylor,
We would like to see more people of color too. Can you help with that? Abortion mills and Planned Parenthood target the black population, where over one third of defenseless black babies are aborted, never given a chance to see the light of the beautiful world God had planned for them. So actually, 40 Days for Life is the forefront battlefield for as you state, ” -racism-mistreatment of the poor.”What more serious moral issue is the killing of innocent black babies? Their families need to know that there is help for them in crisis. -“racism-mistreatment of the poor-neglect of children already born” is unacceptable, however those issues can NEVER be equated with the death of the unborn child… black or white. What will you do to help to educate the people of Pittsburgh on the sanctity of life? Finally, with all due respect, we do not need “good luck” we need much prayer. Please consider starting a spiritual adoption of a child in your parish. We can give you the information. Just ask. With prayers for life and unity.
