The weather was a bit cold and rainy this evening, but it certainly didn’t stop us from having a great vigil experience downtown. There wasn’t much traffic in and out of Planned Parenthood, there was hardly any negativity toward our group from those passing by, and it was a great time of fellowship and prayer for us.
Here are some pictures…
One of our favorite parts of the night was when a young man approached us to thank us for taking a strong stand against abortion. After saying a few words, he reached in his pocket and pulled out several sonogram photos. His girlfriend was 6 mo. pregnant, they chose life, and he was very excited to be a father. The look on his face was priceless… he was grinning from ear to ear. He lifted our spirits, and we thank God for him! He also told us they would likely be naming their son Xavier.
Similar to what was reported in a previous post, this young man was our angel. God sent him to us as a sign that there is hope and that people do know the difference between right and wrong. This man and woman chose life for their son. May Xavier grow to become a man who also chooses life.
That’s it for now. God bless you this week! Keep praying, prayer warriors!
